Is a scout required?
For most productions, yes — either in person or remotely. A scout is how angles, light, access, operating zones, and weather alternatives get confirmed rather than assumed.
What usage and location fees apply?
Location and usage terms are set per property and depend on the project, usage rights, crew size, and shoot hours. We share the applicable terms with the shortlist once we have the brief.
What insurance is required?
Productions are expected to carry their own general liability and equipment coverage, with the property named where required. Requirements vary by property and are confirmed before contracting.
Are drones allowed?
Sometimes. Drone use depends on the property, the community or neighborhood rules, and local regulations. Include the drone request in the brief so we can confirm it early.
Can crew or talent stay at the villa?
Often, and it can simplify the schedule. Overnight use is agreed alongside the location terms and depends on the property and the shoot plan.
What are the working-hour and overtime rules?
Access windows, quiet hours, and overtime handling are set per property and written into the agreement, so both sides know what happens if the day runs long.
Do you provide local production services or referrals?
We coordinate the property, accommodation, catering, and transport, and can refer trusted local crew and production support in Tulum and Careyes.
